Richardson And Robbins

The Richardson and Robbins Company have the reputation of making plum pudding and boned chicken of an unusually high standard. This reputation has come to them through fifty years of sales, increasing year after year chiefly through word-of-mouth advertising, for they have done but little advertising as that word is generally understood today.

While the reputation of the house has been built principally upon the products mentioned above, there are many other table delicacies carrying their label—tomatoes, curried fowl, chicken soup, tomato soup, French process prunes, potted tongue, potted ham, and the like.

The canning of tomatoes was taken on during the tomato season in order to keep the factory going, and the same reason accounts for the addition to the list of many of the other staples they now handle.
