Passenger accommodations, 1912: 200 first, 100 second 700 third. Renamed: Dwinsk (1913). Fate: Torpedoed and sunk in the Atlantic, June 18, 1918. Previously Named: Ex-Rotterdam (1906).

 

Frederik VIII (1913) Scandinavian-American Line (Danish)

Built by A. G. "Vulkan", Stettin, Germany. Tonnage: 11,850. Dimensions: 523' x 62' (544' o.l.). Propulsion: Twin-screw, 17 knots. Triple expansion engines. Masts and Funnels: Two masts and two funnels. Maiden voyage: Copenhagen-Oslo-New York, February 5, 1914. Final Voyage: Made her final voyage to New York in December 1935. Fate: Sold to Hughes Bolckow for scrap in September 1936 and was dismantled by 1937.

Built by Alexander Stephen & Sons, Ltd., Glasgow, Scotland. Tonnage: 9,939. Dimensions: 500' x 58' (515' o.l.). Propulsion: Twin- screw, 16 knots. Triple expansion engines. Masts and Funnels: Two masts and one funnel. Passengers: 130 first, 140 second, 900 third. Service: Copenhagen-Oslo-New York. Last Voyage: Final Atlantic crossing in 1931. Fate: Scrapped in 1934. Sister ships: Oscar II and United States.

Built by Alexander Stephen & Sons, Ltd., Glasgow, Scotland. Tonnage: 10,012. Dimensions: 500' x 58' (515' o.l.). Propulsion: Twin- screw, 16 knots. Triple expansion engines. 8,500 I.H.P. Masts and Funnels: Two masts and one funnel. Passengers: 130 first, 140 second, 900 third. Service: Copenhagen-Oslo-New York. Fate: Scrapped in Great Britain, 1934. Sister ships: Heilig Olav and United States.
