Oranje Lijn (Maatschappij Zeetransport NV)

The company was operated under the name Maatschappij Zeetransport NV in Rotterdam. He named his shipping company Oranje Lijn, and all its ships were named after members of the Royal House.
The shipping company initially operated exclusively in freight shipping. After the Second World War, ships with passenger accommodation were added. In the first years of its existence, this company did pioneering work in shipping between Western Europe and the area it served in North America.
