A White Star Line agent used this insert to accompany the First Class Passenger Ticket and Contract for Reverend J. Stuart Holden.

Originally Rev. Holden was scheduled as a passenger on the RMS Titanic.

According to the Brooklyn Dialy Eagle, Brooklyn NY, 14 April 1912, p. 5.

Rev. Mr. Holden's Visit

East Springfield, Mass., April 12—Among ihe passengers on the Titanic is the Rer. J. Stuart Holden, who is coming to America to hold brief missions under tbo Northfield Extension Movement In several cities. He will conduct services at Princeton on April 19 and 20, and on April 21 he will begin a mission in St. Ann's Episcopal Church, Brookly. Mr. Holden is to be in the Chicago from the 26th to the 28th of April, in Toronto from April 30 to May 4, and in Philadelphia from May 5 to 10, concluding his visit to this country with a brief visit to Northfield May 11 to 13, where he has been a speaker for the past five years.

The Ticket Unused

Reverend Holden's wife became ill, and their tickets along with the replica of the insert shown above were never used.

Reverend Holden was the vicar of St. Paul's Church, Portman Square, London.
