SS Drottningholm Vintage Menu Collection
Vintage menus for the SS Drottningholm in the GG Archives collection represent the souvenir breakfast, luncheon, dinner, daily, private party, special occasion, and specialty menus provided to the passengers during their voyage. Many of these souvenir menus have disappeared over the years.
1946-05-27 SS Drottningholm Luncheon Menu
Luncheon Menu from 27 May 1946 on board the SS Drottningholm of the Swedish American Line, featured Chopped Beef à la Lindstrom for Standard Class Passengers on an eastbound voyage from New York to Gothenburg.
Our collection contains a sampling of menus initially produced and printed by the steamship lines. They are often used to illustrate family history books for immigrants from this time.
