Built by Blohm & Voss, Hamburg, Germany. Tonnage: 16,339. Dimensions: 582' x 65' (600' o.l.). Twin-screw, 16 knots. Quadruple expansion engines. Four masts and two funnels. Passengers: 243 first, 210 second, 2,305 third. Service: Commenced Hamburg-Boulogne-Southampton-Boston service in 1913. Renamed: Covington (1917) American troopship. Fate: Sunk by German submarine in North Atlantic, July 1, 1918. Sister ship: Cleveland.
