THE HAMBURG-AMERICAN LINE (ESTABLISHED 1847) is the oldest German Line. Its fleet consists of 331 vessels with a total tonnage of 764,551 tons. Of these 331 ships 150 are Ocean Steamers, and of these 23 are large, new Twin-Screw passenger steamships.
