CAPTAIN WILLIAM GAMMELL, JR. Born in Providence, R. I., March 8, 1885. Groton, 1904; Yale College, 1908. Civilian occupation: cotton manufacturer. Military experience: enlisted in Battery A, R. I. National Guard in 1911. Served one year as Corporal, one year as Sergeant, two years as 2nd Lieutenant, two years as 1st Lieutenant. Commissioned Captain, Field Artillery Reserve Corps, January 9, 1917. Assistant instructor in First Officers' Training Camp at Plattsburg, N. Y. Instructor in Second Officers' Training Camp at Plattsburg, N. Y.

JONATHAN H. HARWOOD, Captain 303 F. A. Born in Littleton, Mass., August 29, 1892. Civilian occupation: cotton merchant. Harvard College, class of 1914; member of Phi Beta Kappa. Enlisted March 1916, in Battery A, 1st F. A., Mass. National Guard. Served on Mexican border, 1916, as lead driver. Appointed Corporal, April 1917. Discharged from Battery A, May 5, 1917, to accept commission as 2nd Lieutenant, F. A. Reserve Corps. Attended First Plattsburg.R. 0. T. C., 1917, as student and assistant instructor. Promoted to Captain, August 15, 1917. Detailed as instructor 3rd Battery, 17th Provisional Training Regiment, 2nd R. 0. T. C., Plattsburg, 1917. Assigned as Battalion Adjutant, 2nd Battalion, 303rd H. F. A.

FIRST LIEUTENANT FRAZAR B. WILDE. Born in Boston, January 26, 1895. Civilian occupation: insurance. Military experience: three years in Troop B of Hartford, Conn. National Guard. Commissioned 1st Lieutenant, Field Artillery Reserve Corps, November 27, 1917.

FIRST LIEUTENANT ALLEN H. BOARDMAN. Born in Meriden, Conn., July 15, 1894. Yale College, 1916. Occupation in civil life: brass. business. Military experience: summer camp at Burlington, Vt., 1914, summer camp at Plattsburg, N. Y., 1915. Commissioned 1st Lieutenant, Field Artillery Reserve Corps, November 27, 1917, after the Second Officers' Training Camp at Plattsburg, N. Y.

FIRST LIEUTENANT AUSTIN D. BARNEY. Born in Hartford, Conn., November 7, 1896. Yale College, 1918. Occupation in civil life: Student. Military experience: one year and a half as a private in Battery B, 10th Field Artillery, Connecticut National Guard. Commissioned 1st Lieutenant, Field Artillery Reserve Corps.

SECOND LIEUTENANT WILLIAM G. THAYER, JR. Born in Groton, Mass., June 18, 1893. Amherst, 1915. Occupation in civil life: Student of architecture. Military experience: First Officers' Training Camp at Plattsburg, N. Y. Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant, Infantry Reserve Corps, August 15, 1917.
